As promised, here are the rest of the pictures. Please forgive the quality. I’m a writer, not a photographer, clearly.
Thanks to all who attended. You brought a fat slice of Sierra into the center of Oakland — and we need all that we can get here!

Julie Holzer emailed Monika Rose after the Oakland reading: “Definitely I wanted to check in with you about last Saturday’s Oakland reading. What an exceptional intellectual, creative stew the eight writers created! You know the saying “food for the soul?” Well, this day’s varied, gifted readings stirred the creative and intellectual spirit, by the many ways words were spun to run around the subject of nature – in eight ways, or more. I wish you were there. Some readings (like Tuolumne Meadows for example) are lifted up by magic poetry dust. Oakland was one of them… on our ways home, each of us littered the byways with shiny dust sprinkles. You were deservedly mentioned several times, by the way.” ~ Julie (slightly edited for Alison’s blog.
